Irish Breakfast is a strong, robust tea blend dominated by Assam and sometimes Kenyan CTC teas. Stronger and more malty than English Breakfast, it was developed to complement Ireland's soft water, which produces a more vivid brew. Typically served with generous milk and sugar, Irish Breakfast has a deep reddish-brown color and an assertive, malty character that cuts through dairy.
