Description

Bi Luo Chun ('Green Snail Spring') is a premium Chinese green tea from Dongting Mountain in Jiangsu province. Traditionally grown among fruit trees, the tiny leaves are hand-rolled into tight spiral shapes resembling snail shells. It produces a delicate, fruity infusion with floral fragrance and a natural sweetness imparted by the surrounding orchards.

Brewing Guide

Temperature 75°C
Steep Time 90s
Water Ratio 75ml/g
Infusions 3x

Recommended vessel: Tall glass cup

Like Longjing, Bi Luo Chun is best brewed in a glass to enjoy the tiny spiraled leaves unfurling. Add water first (75°C), then drop leaves in. The leaves are very small and delicate; exceeding 80°C will destroy the fruity aroma.
