Description

Lu'an Guapian ('Melon Seed') is a unique Chinese green tea from Liu'an in Anhui province. It is the only famous Chinese green tea made exclusively from single leaves with no buds or stems, giving it a distinctive clean, pure flavor. The leaves are shaped into flat, oval pieces resembling melon seeds. Pan-fired and then baked over a charcoal pit, Lu'an Guapian produces a mellow, slightly sweet infusion with chestnut and fresh grass notes and a long, refreshing aftertaste.
