À propos

Zhenghe County in northern Fujian is the other great origin of Chinese white tea alongside Fuding, using the Zhenghe Da Bai cultivar with its larger, more robust leaves. While Fuding white teas tend toward delicate and floral, Zhenghe whites are fuller-bodied with deeper, earthier flavors and excellent aging potential. The county's name itself was granted by Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty in honor of its exceptional tribute tea. Zhenghe also produces a refined gongfu black tea that was historically exported to Europe, contributing to the region's long-standing reputation for quality.
