South Korea tea culture — watercolor illustration

À propos

South Korea has a tea tradition dating back over a millennium, with production centered in the southern regions of Boseong, Hadong, and Jeju Island. Korean green teas are known for their clean, sweet flavor with a gentle roasted character. The Buddhist monk Cho-ui is credited with reviving Korean tea culture in the 19th century.
