Beschreibung

Zhengshan Xiaozhong is the original, unsmoked version of Wuyi black tea from the Tongmu Village Nature Reserve in Fujian. While the smoked export version became known as Lapsang Souchong, authentic Zhengshan Xiaozhong is processed over pinewood embers with very light or no smoke, allowing the tea's natural sweetness to shine. The dark, wiry leaves brew a rich amber cup with extraordinary longan fruit, dried lychee, and honey sweetness, a smooth pine-sugar fragrance, and a warming finish. It is considered one of the world's oldest black tea styles.
