Mô tả
Epidemiological studies consistently show that regular tea drinkers have higher bone mineral density and lower fracture risk, particularly in postmenopausal women. Tea flavonoids stimulate osteoblast activity (bone building) and inhibit osteoclast activity (bone breakdown). Manganese in tea supports connective tissue and bone matrix formation. The protective effect is observed with both green and black tea at 2-4 cups daily, independent of calcium intake. Fluoride in tea may contribute to bone mineral density.
