Description

White Peony is the second-highest grade of white tea, comprising a bud with one or two young leaves. More full-bodied than Silver Needle, it offers a richer, more complex cup with nutty, floral notes and a slight vegetal character from the leaves. The contrast between silvery buds and green-brown leaves creates an attractive appearance.

Brewing Guide

Steep Time 180s
Water Ratio 100ml/g

White Peony includes both buds and leaves, opening faster than Silver Needle. The leaves tolerate slightly higher temperatures and produce a fuller-bodied cup. Aged White Peony (3+ years) can be brewed at 95-100°C to unlock deeper flavors.
