Lightly oxidized near 20 percent from the Qingxin cultivar and rolled into tight balls, the bright green liquor is crisp and refreshing, with alpine flowers, fresh bamboo, and a hint of cedar closing on a clean, lingering sweetness. Spring and winter pickings carry a caffeine near 22 milligrams and about 7.5 milligrams of L-theanine. The surrounding forest is as much a part of its identity as the altitude.
