Qing Zhuan

Qing Zhuan ('Green Brick') is a compressed dark tea from Hubei province, produced by pressing aged sun-dried tea leaves into rectangular bricks. With roots in the Qing Dynasty, it was once a major trade commodity along the tea-horse road to Mongolia and Russia. Qing Zhuan brews a reddish-brown liquor with a mellow, slightly sweet flavor, earthy undertones, and a smooth, clean finish that improves with age.
