Описание
Tea uniquely combines natural fluoride (strengthening enamel) with catechins that inhibit Streptococcus mutans and other cariogenic bacteria. Tea polyphenols also suppress glucosyltransferase, the enzyme bacteria use to adhere to teeth. Studies show regular tea drinkers have significantly fewer cavities and less periodontal disease. Green tea is most effective due to high catechin content, but unsweetened black tea also provides meaningful protection. The key caveat is that tea must be consumed without sugar to realize dental benefits.
