About

Guizhou Province is one of China's fastest-growing tea regions, with ancient tea tree fossils dating back over a million years discovered near Duyun city. The high-altitude karst landscape provides excellent drainage, cool temperatures, and naturally acidic soils that favor tea cultivation. Duyun Maojian, a tightly rolled green tea covered in fine white hairs, is one of China's Ten Famous Teas, prized for its clean, sweet flavor and refreshing aftertaste. Government investment and the province's low labor costs have fueled rapid expansion, positioning Guizhou as an emerging powerhouse in Chinese tea production.
