Tentang

Xishuangbanna in southern Yunnan is one of the oldest tea-producing areas on Earth, home to ancient tea trees over a thousand years old. The tropical monsoon climate and deep laterite soils nourish large-leaf Camellia sinensis var. assamica cultivars prized for Pu-erh production. Famous sub-regions like Yiwu, Bulang, and Nannuo each produce teas with distinct terroir-driven profiles ranging from honey-sweet to intensely bitter. This area is the spiritual heartland of Pu-erh tea, attracting collectors who seek single-origin ancient tree pressings.
