Acerca de

Qimen County in southern Anhui produces Keemun black tea, one of the world's great black teas and a key ingredient in traditional English Breakfast blends. The valley location surrounded by mountains creates a cool, misty microclimate ideal for developing the complex aromatic compounds that give Keemun its signature winey, slightly smoky fragrance. The best grades exhibit a distinctive orchid-like aroma without astringency, earning Keemun its reputation as the 'Burgundy of teas.' Production involves careful slow-withering and controlled oxidation to achieve the tea's refined character.
