Beschreibung

Li Shan (Pear Mountain) is among Taiwan's most prized high-mountain oolongs, grown at elevations between 1,600 and 2,600 meters in Taichung County. The extreme altitude means slow leaf growth, reduced harvests, and concentrated flavors. Cold mountain air, persistent fog, and dramatic day-night temperature swings produce leaves with exceptional sweetness and complexity. The pale gold infusion has a silky, buttery texture with notes of pear, orchid, and cream, and an extraordinarily long, sweet aftertaste.

Wasserverhältnis 20ml/g

Empfohlenes Gefäß: Porcelain gaiwan

Li Shan's extreme elevation (1,600-2,600m) produces thick, concentrated leaves that unfurl slowly. Start at 40 seconds and increase by 10 seconds per round. A porcelain gaiwan preserves the pristine orchid and pear notes. Keep a consistent water temperature across infusions.
