Myanmar tea culture — watercolor illustration

حول

Myanmar is home to some of the oldest wild tea trees in the world, found in the forests of Shan State. Tea has been part of Burmese culture for centuries, consumed both as a brewed beverage and as lahpet (fermented tea leaf salad), a unique culinary tradition. The ancient tea forests represent important genetic resources for tea biodiversity.
